The Chalice Choir

The Chalice Choir is the choir of the Chalice Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Escondido, CA.

The main function of the choir is to lead music in the church's services. The choir sing a wide range of music taking in music from the world church and secular concert items. Smaller groups often perform special music at services and other functions.

We are a mixed group of around 20 members; new members are always welcome. The choir is an active social body and we hold a number of social events each year for the whole choir.

Schedule and Location

The choir practices one night a week during the September through June. We currently meet on Monday evening from 7:15pm until 9:00pm at Chalice, 2324 Miller Road, Escondido, CA.

In addition to the choir practice, choir members are provided with Noteworthy Composer and/or Finale music files that can be played on the computer for practice at home. The intention is that you first learn your part using the individual part file, and then practice it with the all parts file to get used to singing your part with the other parts and accompaniment going on at the same time.
