Timothy McKnight
Tim
McKnight recently relocated to San Diego from Illinois after completing his
Masters degree in Vocal Accompanying and Coaching from the University of Illinois.
Tim is a professional musician and teacher in the San Diego area. In addition
to being the Director of Music at Chalice Unitarian Universalist Congregation
in Escondido, he is also the accompanist and assistant choir director for
the Helix Charter High School choral department, and teaches a studio of almost
20 piano and voice students in the area. Tim has served as musical director,
conductor, vocal coach and pianist for numerous musical theater and opera
productions throughout Illinois and here in San Diego. Currently he is working
as conductor of San Diego Junior Theatre’s upcoming production of Annie
and was recently Associate Conductor and Pianist for their production of Seussical.
