INSTALLING FINALE NOTEPAD
To install the new player, click on the following link and save the file
locally on your desktop or some other location where you can find the file
again. I am assuming that everyone is using some version of Windows.

Find the file you just downloaded (NotepadSETUP.exe) and double-click on it
to start the installation. After the program is installed, it will show a
directory with Finale Notepad 2005a in it along with an uninstaller (as below).
Double-click on "Finale NotePad 2005a" to run Finale Notepad. When
the program runs, it will ask you for a serial number. Use the following code
exactly as is, use capitals, no spaces, etc.:
WNNR-31501997
The program opens a window asking if you want to upgrade, just hit Continue.
Then it opens a window as if you are going to start creating a new piece of
music. Hit CANCEL.
Once the program is running, you can go to the menu and choose File >>
Open and find the file: NotePadEntryExercise.MUS which goes through a few
basics. Alternatively, I also included a Finale music file that you can save
and double click on to hear some music. The Noteworthy files will not work
with Finale Notepad.
