Update for October

The October 30st service will be intergenerational, so we won't have RE classes. Please wear a costume if you like, and we'll try to have bobbing for apples after the service!

October 2nd

Pre-K to K:
"Our Church is a place of Special Sights and Sounds" We'll explore these sights with a memory game.
1st to 3rd Grade:
The story of John Murray. Which principle(s) are illustrated in his story? How?
4th to 6th Grade:
"Fair to Everyone," the second UU Principle
7th to 9th Grade:
"Compassion and the Spirit of Giving"

October 9th:

Pre-K to K:
"Our Church is a Place to Make Beautiful" Fall plantings
1st to 3rd Grade:
A Famous UU, Alexander Graham Bell
4th to 6th Grade:
"Inner Peace," the third UU principle
7th to 9th Grade:
"Social Responsibility in our Families and Community"

October 16th:

Pre-K to K:
"Our Church's Special Picture, or Symbol is a Chalice"
1st to 3rd Grade:
"I" Statements for making peace. Role playing
4th to 6th Grade:
"A Free and Responsible Search for Truth"
7th to 9th Grade:
"What Are Your Gifts?"

October 23rd:

Today each class will explore a different historical tradition or meaning for the fall celebration we call Halloween

October 30th:
