Wade Through Deep Water introduces two prophets, Miriam and John the Baptist, whose water-logged lives kept them swimming in transformation. This theatrical piece is full of storytelling, high energy song and dance numbers, live music, dramatic archetypal characters, and dances with large silk props, while exploring the sanctity of clean and pure water.
Holy Fool Arts bridges the worlds of faith, art, and activism. They are inspired by the ancient vision at the heart of the world’s spiritual traditions of human life in harmony with the rest of creation. After the performance, Ched Myers, author and activist theologian, will offer a brief introduction to ‘watershed discipleship’, a view of watershed protection from
theological, ecological and practical perspectives.
