The Lower Elementary Religious Education class:

• is for children from pre-K through 2nd grade
• meets Sundays during the 9:15am worship service. Children begin the service with the adults in the Sanctuary and generally leave after the Children’s Story to Fellowship Hall.

The main worship components of the Lower Elementary Religious Education class are: Chalice Lighting, and Joys and Concerns. The age-appropriate curriculum uses story, music, and activity to help children enjoy lessons based on the Unitarian Universalist Principles and Sources. Teachers are volunteer Chalice members.
