In November, our theme is the Practice of Repair
Thanksgiving – The Whole Story
Sunday morning at 10am
with Rev. Nica Eaton
Join us for a Thanksgiving service that goes beyond the traditional story. We’ll delve into the rich history of this land, honoring Indigenous Peoples who have inhabited it for over 10,000 years. We’ll explore land acknowledgements and share in our traditional communal bread ceremony. We will gather after services for our annual ‘breaking bread’ event. Let’s set the tone for a meaningful Thanksgiving week with gratitude and respect.

Families welcome! The Joy Corner is open!
Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.
November 24–
Repairing Lies with Honesty – Let’s explore truth telling versus lies as we learn about the origins of Thanksgiving. We will also hold our own Bread Communion.
Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.
