What is it with all this Praying?

Sunday morning at 10am

with Rick Wells

We pray a lot here at Chalice. We “give thanks for the gifts and the givers”. We consecrate things like babies and backpacks. We say prayers of petition or lamentation. We are a reverent community, but why? Who are we talking to?  Join Rick Wells this week as he engages this existential question of how we create a meaningful life and what this thing called prayer has to do with that creation.

October 26–

Sunday Funday

WE Grow (4th grade and younger) – Let’s draw up some monster vibes…

WE Wonder (5th grade and older) – Time to get “knotty”!

A little reminder…

We are so glad to see you all on Sunday mornings. It is wonderful to see everyone connecting after the services during coffee hour and attending various meetings and workshops. As you enjoy one another’s company, it would be very helpful if everyone would please tidy up after themselves. If you’re not sure where something goes, please ask. If you see something that could be put away, a helping hand is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for helping to care for our Chalice home!

In gratitude, the Chalice staff
