Chalice Family Update
March 20, 2025
In March, the theme is the Practice of Trust
Be the Light
Sunday morning at 10am
with Rev. Nica Eaton
Today we reflect on what it means to be the light—for ourselves, for each other, and for the world. As a community, we ask: What does it mean to be a beacon? To shine not only in times of ease but in times of challenge? How do we ensure that this light—our Chalice community—burns brightly for all who seek its warmth? Join us for this inspiring service followed by our Neighborhood network meetings and lunch!
The service will be followed by lunch and Neighborhood Networks. During this time, children will remain in Room 4 (RE) for lunch and to continue their activity. (Lunch is provided. Please let Sam know of any food allergies.)

Families welcome! The Joy Corner is open!
Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.
March 23–
Sunday Funday – Let’s build a fort, pop some popcorn, and watch a movie together. Children will remain in Room 4 (RE) until Neighborhood Networks have concluded. Please collect your child(ren) from Room 4 when your meeting has ended. Lunch will be provided. Please let Sam know of any food allergies.
Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.
