In the month of June, the Gift of Our Faith is The Story Goes On
Endings and Beginnings
Sunday morning at 10am
With Rev. Nica Eaton & The Worship Team
With every ending comes a new beginning. After 16 years, today marks our last service in our current Sanctuary. We take time to bid adieu while we welcome in our new chapter in Fellowship Hall. Join us for this poignant last service in person at 3327 Old Conejo Road.
Zoom ID: 209 555 249 Passcode: 2020
Livestream on FB: https://www.facebook.com/ChaliceUUF
Families welcome! The Joy Corner is open!
Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service. Children will return for our final moments in the Sanctuary.
June 16–
Settling In – Moving into our new RE space was a big endeavor. Now we get to settle in! We’ll hang artwork, fill the shelves, and make the place our own.
RE will end a little early so that children can return to the worship service to join their Chalice community for our final moments in the Sanctuary.
Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.
