Chalice Family Update
June 8, 2025
In June, the theme is the Practice of Freedom
Freedom & Responsibility
Sunday morning at 10am
with Rev. Nica Eaton
On this special Sunday, we explore how true freedom is not the absence of responsibility—but the deepening of it. As we welcome new members and discover all that’s going on at Chalice, we reflect on the liberating power of community and the sacred commitments we freely choose. How do we embrace both freedom and responsibility? Join us in celebrating the freedom to belong, to care, to listen within and to co-create a beloved community.

Families welcome! The Joy Corner is open!
Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.
June 8–
I Like, You Like, We Like – On this day of welcoming new members to Chalice, we will explore what it means to be in community together. What do we have in common, and what do we do when we don’t agree?
Reminder:
After the service, Chalice will hold the annual meeting. You are welcome to participate in person or online. Please check News & Notes for more details.
If you are planning to attend in person and your family will be staying as well, please let Sam know so an activity and appropriate space can be arranged. Thank you.

Sunday, June 15, 10am – Let Them Soar
An All Ages Service
We are a community who love to lift up our youngest UUs and encourage them to find their own path, wherever that may go. In this most precious time together, we will offer a child dedication for our youngest ones, a bridging celebration for our high school seniors, and show appreciation for our volunteers who have cheered on these amazing young people over the past year. Get ready to watch our children and youth spread their wings and soar!
