Finding the Light – Solstice Service
Sunday Service at 10 AM
in person (3331 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park)
or via StreamYard
On this Winter Solstice we honor the turning of the year, the shortest day and the longest night. Together we will journey to the neolithic tomb of Newgrange in Ireland, where once each year a single shaft of sunlight pierces the darkness, reminding us that even in our deepest shadows the light returns. Join us for this sacred morning of reflection and hope as we share a sabbatical send-off ritual for Rev. Nica. This is her final Sunday service before sabbatical, though she will also lead our Christmas Eve celebration.

Welcome to Chalice!
We are a liberal religious community united by values of love, compassion and justice. We welcome all people of good will, seekers of meaning and purpose. We are a mix of spiritual but not religious folk, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Atheists and Humanists. We worship the beautiful mystery of life and come together in community to support one another. Our mission is “to nurture spiritually courageous people who transform the world through justice and compassion.”
Please click on our “New to Chalice” box below, if you’d like to learn more. Each week we meet in person at our Newbury Park location but we continue to offer a virtual option if you prefer to attend on line.
