A Different Point of View – Our larger community is filled with people from many different backgrounds, bringing many different perspectives to the table. Let’s unfold this thing called pluralism through fun art.
Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.

Our UUA bylaws ask of us that, from time to time, we take a deeper look at our Unitarian Universalist values. Being a living tradition, we ask not only of ourselves but our Principles and Purposes to “grow with understanding” so that our faith may remain relevant in our ever-changing world.
You’ve most like seen the flower image with our proposed core values. Emily C. Jones has created a video to help us easily remember what those values are and why they are important to our faith. Please share with your children and ask yourselves, how are these values important in our home and community? Enjoy!
