Speak With Our Lives

with Rev. Maddie Sifantus

Do you have a book that has informed your life? A long-time favorite of Rev. Maddie’s is Parker Palmer’s “Let Your Life Speak: Listening to the Voice of Vocation.” Is how we live our lives congruent with our deepest sense of self and meaning? How does our life speak to us in these times?

Josiah Wedgwood - World History Encyclopedia

This Day in Unitarian Universalist History…

Josiah Wedgwood, the founder of Wedgwood Pottery, was born in Burslem, Staffordshire, England on February 13, 1730. Along with the simple designs and pure colors of his art, he invented the manufacturing processes for his famous pottery and designed production systems to promote workplace safety and cleanliness. He was a devoted Unitarian, philanthropist, friend of Joseph Priestly, and frequenter of the English royal court, where he was appointed potter to the Queen. He died on January 3, 1795. ~This Day in Unitarian Universalist History
