Exploring the Vision for Our Home

Sunday morning at 10am

with Rev. Nica Eaton

Who do we want to be as a congregation, what do we value, and how might our building serve that vision? At a recent retreat, the Board and COSM explored four possibilities. This service will share what emerged from the retreat, introduce the options that were considered, and invite all of us into a deeper discernment about who we are, what we value, and who we are called to become in our next steps together. This service will be followed by a Congregational Conversation, open to all.

This is a welcoming space for people of all ages. Children and Youth will have the option to leave for their WE spaces partway through the service.

October 18–

WE Grow and WE Wonder will begin journey through Dia de Los Muertos. What is the meaning of this celebration? What are the stories we share about our ancestors? Let’s create beautiful art and build our ofrenda as we honor our loved ones.

Coming of Age –  Let’s gather in the Library to explore the Family and Friends we belong to.

Your Director of Wisdom Exploration, Sam Dickerson, will be taking time off October 15 through October 20. She will be available again October 21. If you are in need of assistance, please contact our Administrator, Ana Johnson: admin@chaliceuu.org.

Wild Wintering: The Art of Adventure, Rest & Wonder

Saturday, December 19 – Monday, December 21, 2026

NEW CAMP for: Youth in Grades 6-8

What is being Wild in the Winter? How do you define wildness? The warm crackle of a woodfire…The crisp feeling of cold mountain air….the rich smell of the pine forest….the mysterious beauty of the night sky….

We welcome family campers to enjoy the weekend programming and stay in a family cabin with their youth (younger youth are welcome). We also welcome new parent/guardian volunteer staff to support the camp, get in on leading or assisting with activities with the youth campers! Contact Camping Ministries Director Laura Lunn if you would like more information!
