Cook along with Eat Less Water author, Florencia Ramirez, and hear her ideas on

helping the world by changing what we eat!

                           Program to include

  • Children’s story
  • Tortilla cook along
  • Compost tea party
  • What’s a water footprint?

Gather the ingredients and join us for a fun and informative event for all ages!

(3 c. flour, 1 t. salt, 1 t. baking powder, 1/3 c. vegetable oil, 1 c. hot water)

Florencia Ramirez is a trained researcher at the University of Chicago’s School of Public Policy.  She was awarded the Environmental Hero Award from the Santa Barbara Community Environmental Council in 2018 and authored Eat Less Water.
