The story of how one woman, after finding out that she had late stage cancer – while temporarily uninsured – was suddenly thrust into the national spotlight.  And smack in the center of the health care reform debate. 

Spike Dolomite Ward is an artist and arts education activist, whose nonprofit has been restoring the arts to the San Fernando Valley public schools within the past 13 years.  After her life was saved by The Affordable Care Act, Spike became an outspoken advocate for Obamacare.
